One of the most post popular walks in the Lake District, it has super views looking over Derwent Water, Keswick and Borrowdale. It is a moderate hike that can be enjoyed with all of the family, the summit of Catbells is 1,480ft it is classed as one of the shorter hikes in the Lakes but the views are no less rewarding.
The hiking legend Alfred Wainwright said “Catbells is one of the great favourites, a family fell where grandmothers and infants can climb the fell together”.
