A super tiny old church at the wonderful Wasdale Head, Where lies Englands highest mountain, deepest lake and smallest church. There is a tale to be told about who built it. Being over 1200 years old, it’s a church with quite a view! It is believed the beautiful roof beams are made from the wood of a Viking Longship. The Vikings occupied the area around the 9th century.
